A Letter from the Provost
For more than 100 years, Loyola University New Orleans has prepared students to be catalysts of change. Drawing on critical thinking skills, a passion for justice, and sheer ingenuity, they seek to make the world a better place.
Whether exploring the wilderness, creating a new nonprofit, or developing the next No. 1 downloaded song on Spotify, our faculty and students draw on their God-given talents, interests, and experiences to pursue their passions and create something meaningful. Creativity, discovery and action are what the student experience is all about at Loyola. Our campus community thrives on breaking down barriers and forging new opportunities.
While it’s impossible to capture all the excitement we have enjoyed the last year, in this report we strive to provide a snapshot of some of the transformative things happening on our campus.Sincerely,
Maria Calzada, Ph.D.
