Sage Junior Faculty Professional Development Teaching Award by the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences; The purpose of this award is, "to recognize and honor criminal justice and criminology faculty members for innovative teaching methods."

$50,000 Grant to JSRI from The Porticus Foundation to support the Catholic Teach-Ins on Mass Incarceration and our geographical outreach across the Gulf South; $5,000 grant to JSRI from The Keller Family for general support
Fulbright Scholarship to the Netherlands; Faculty Fellowship to Israel
Awarded a Fulbright Scholarship for her research project in China during the 2019-2020 academic year. Working with the Institute of Legal History, China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, she will research ancient Chinese dynastic contract law issues, focusing on the Tang Dynasty.
